Welcome to Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website and booking travel services through us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you (“the client”, “you”, “your”) and Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. Please read carefully before proceeding with any booking.

1. Introduction


Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. is a UK-registered travel consultancy specializing in tailor-made and group holiday packages to Sri Lanka. We act as the exclusive UK travel consultant for :

  • Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd -  A licensed Destination Management Company (DMC) in Sri Lanka
  • Heritage Holiday Tours (Pvt) Ltd - Our Sri Lankan - based transport and tour - operating partner.

By using our website or making a booking , you agree that:


  • We operate as a travel consultant and marketing representative for Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd.
  • All payments, invoicing and receipts are processed by Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd, the official contracting party for your ground services in Sri Lanka.
  • All financial transactions are monitored by Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd, and receipts are issued via us for transparency and client assurance.
  • These terms & conditions along with any special booking conditions, govern your use of our services.


2. Our Services


We provide,

  • Travel consultancy , itinerary planning , and booking support for land - based holiday packages in Sri Lanka.
  • Marketing and client relationship management on behalf of Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd.
  • Coordination of all ground services ( e.g ; transport , guides, hotels) handled  by Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd.

Note: We do not sell or arrange international flights unless clearly stated


3. Booking & Payment Terms


Bookings:

All bookings are made through Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. on behalf of Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd.


Payment Processing & Currency:


  • Invoices and receipts are issued by Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd, your contracting party for ground services.
  • All customer payments are accepted in GBP (£) , as quoted on our website or itinerary.  The price you see in GBP is the final amount payable by you as the traveller.
  • Behind the scenes,payments are remitted to Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd. in USD ($) or LKR, in line with UK–Sri Lankan banking regulations. Currency conversions and related banking logistics are handled between us and our partners.
  • You will not be affected by currency fluctuations - unless you choose to pay in another currency, or unless specified in a customized invoice.

Please note: Any bank transfer fees or card changes imposed by your bank or payment provider remain your responsibility.


Deposit:


  • To confirm your booking , a refundable deposit of 20% of the total package price is required.
  • This deposit is payable in GBP (£) as quoted and will be clearly stated on your invoice.


Refund considerations:


  • If your booking is cancelled within the refundable period , your deposit will be returned to you.
  • However please note that:
    • The refunded amount may be subject to minor variations due to currency exchange rate fluctuations that may have occurred between the time of payment and refund.
    • Additionally, any bank transfer fees or international remittance charges incurred during the refund process may be deducted from the final refunded amount.

We aim to process refunds efficiently and transparently, and we will always provide you with a breakdown of any adjustments or fees applied. Our priority is to ensure your peace of mind while handling international transactions with care.


Balance Payment:


  • Full payment is due 45 days before your departure date.
  • Late payments may lead to cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.


4. Pricing & Accuracy


  • Quoted prices are based on supplier rates, exchange rates, and tax structures at the time of quotation.
  • Each itinerary clearly outlines what’s included and excluded.
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes in supplier costs or exchange rates.


5. Cancellations & Refunds


Client - Initiated Cancellations:

Time Before Departure Cancellation Fee


More than 60 days            Deposit forfeited

31-60 days                         50% of total cost

30 days or less                  100% of total cost


  • Cancellations must be made in writing.


Changes by Us or DMC:


  • If Navigeto  Travels (Pvt) Ltd. must cancel or alter a trip significantly, we will offer an alternative package or a full refund.


Force Majeure:


Events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest) may impact your trip. In such cases, we aim to:

  • Reschedule your trip without extra charges.
  • Provide travel credits or vouchers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for partial refunds or waivers.

Please note that some third-party costs may remain non-refundable.



6. Travel Documents & Requirements 


  • You must have a valid passport, applicable visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance.
  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
  • We are not responsible for losses due to failure to meet entry requirements.



7. Liability & Disclaimers


  • Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. acts only as a travel consultant.
  • Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd. is your direct contractual party for ground services.
  • We accept no liability for third-party suppliers or service disruptions.
  • We are not liable for any event or delay beyond our reasonable control.


8. Customer Conduct


Guests are expected to:

  • Respect local customs, guides, and fellow travellers.
  • Avoid any disruptive or unsafe behaviour.

Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd. reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removing a traveller from the tour if safety or comfort is compromised.


9. Intellectual Property


  • All website content, itineraries, branding, and images are the property of Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. or its partners.
  • Reproduction or use without written permission is strictly prohibited.



10. Changes To Terms


  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.
  • Updated versions are published on our website and take effect immediately.



11. Governing Law


  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.



Important Clarification


Heritage Nomadic UK Ltd. serves as t he UK travel consultant and marketing partner of Navigeto Travels (Pvt) Ltd., who remains your contracting party for all on-ground travel arrangements in Sri Lanka.
